Use Audio Interviews to Attract Customers – A How-To
If you’ve conducted an audio interview with an expert, you’re well on your way to having a business that can make you money.
Some people get stuck on the idea that an interview is just that – an interview. Don’t do that. What I want to encourage you to do is to see the interview as information product.
Obviously, that information product has a value for the information it provides. But, it also has a perceived value for the way that information is delivered.
For example, an ability to listen to an interview online has an inherent value. But it is not as valuable as an ability to download the interview and take it with you on the road, in the garden, or when you’re out “pounding the pavement” getting fit.
The reason the second option is more valuable? Choice. People like choice and are prepared to pay more for it.
Taking this process further, another way to enhance the value would be to provide a transcript of the interview. That way, people who like to read could also tap into your stuff.
If you follow this model through you have the basics for an opt-in program on your website. For example, in order to capture the email address of a potential customer you could make available a sample of the interview.
Having wet their appetite, you could then offer that customer the ability to download the interview so that they can take it on the road. They could pay a monthly fee for this service. In order to further increase the value and charge a premium on the monthly fee, you could offer to supply the transcript.And then. Hey presto. Using one audio product, you have created a viable business system that’s a win for you and a win for the customer.

This involves many slides and many transitions. If I make these into slow fades, it messes up my timings. I am assuming that anything other than a cut must add a fraction of a second. (unlike video editing where transitions overlap the two segments without adding anything) So my question is: Is it possible to put a slow or medium “fade smoothly” transition into a powerpoint presentation without it affecting the timings?

I have some 200 blessed suncatchers hanging from the trees in my yard to create the proper atmosphere, and I have planted plenty of pennyroyal and sage, but are there some other ways to attract these gentle and lovely astral creatures to my yard? I own a 4-plex with a friend of mine in Minnesota, in an area that is still in “transition”, but is starting to be developed. We don’t live in Minnesota, and have had a LOT of challenges keeping the property going, due to excessive inspections (lead based paint, fire, etc.), problems with tenants, etc. If we sold the property outright, right now, we would not be able to recoup our losses. We would like to attract a developer to the property, which is slated for redevelopment which has already begun, in order to be able to break even on our “investment”. We have lots of ideas ourselves for what a developer could do. Should we start our own website for the property, and then place an ad in the local finance and commerce magazine, to attract developers? Would it help to share our ideas with developers? The county and city were going to send out a joint “request for proposal” to developers for the property on either side of us, but have decided to wait.

We all usually attract more than one type. But, there is always one type that lets you know one way or another that they are interested in you and would like for things to go further.
Just to give you an example: The type of women that I usually attract are the Sarah Palin type. They are career minded types that are also feminist. They have strong personalities that would take a ton of dynamite on a bulldozer to even make them flinch.
