Are we part of a giant projection?
Do the latest revelations in String Theory support the theory of the projection?
String theory is now the accepted sub-atomic model among most physicists. These small string-like objects or loops oscillate at varying frequencies and make up all the known elementary particles.
The theory requires that there are six curled up dimensions inside every point in space and the strings unfurl from these dimensions. The dimensions are curled up into Calabi-Yau shapes; like multi dimensional Rubik's Snakes. The points are the size of the Planck length - about a millionth of a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a centimetre. These are the dots that make up our three dimensional matrix.
The post entitled "The Projection", under "Energy, Space and Time", used an analogy of beings living in TV World trying to ascertain what their world was made of (the analogy is using a CRT TV.) When they examine their world closely they can see electrons appearing and disappearing but of course do not know where they are coming from or where they are going to. The electrons seem to be appearing from one dimension and disappearing into another. What these beings don't know and can't see is that the path of the electrons is one dimensional and what they assume is two dimensions is in fact the same dimension viewed in opposite directions.
If we were to suspect that our world was a projection what evidence would
9e look for? First we would look for the boundaries of the projection. In the analogy of TV World we could pincushion their screen so the closer they got to the edge, the smaller they became. It would then appear to the beings that they were surrounded by infinity in all of their directions. We also appear to be surrounded by infinity in all of our directions which is what we would expect if our universe was similarly pincushioned. So, like out TV World investigators, we would then look within. We would expect to find the projection operating in six dimensions. Or rather three dimensions, each viewed in the opposite direction. Could these be the same six dimensions of String Theory? It would explain the super-symmetry associated with the strings. Each of the three dimensions would need to be angularly equidistant from the other and the three opposite directions would have mirrored properties.
Scientists are still searching for a theory encompassing all known physical phenomena - The Theory of Everything. Whether you believe we are part of a projection or not, one thing is certain - there will never be a Theory of Everything that doesn't include life and consciousness. Life and consciousness are the essence of the universe and the reason for the strings.
