I know, I know, there are many articles about Firefox extensions...
I an not trying to reivent the wheel, i just want to share extensions i use on the daily basis.
Some of ther are well known, and the chances are that you are already use them;
Others are not so "famous", but it doesn't make them less useful.

Colorful Tabs
The most beautiful yet the simplest add-on that makes a strong colorful appeal. Colors every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appearance of the interface.
Advanced Dork
This small, yet powerful extension was designed to quickly and efficiently search for specified text inside Google's Advanced Operators.
IE Tab
Embedding Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.
This is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your webpage displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox.
Fasterfox
Performance and network tweaks for Firefox.
Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay.
Add N Edit Cookies
Cookie Editor that allows you add and edit "session" and saved cookies.
ColorZilla
Advanced Eyedropper, ColorPicker, Page Zoomer and other colorful goodies.
With ColorZilla you can get a color reading from any point in your browser, quickly adjust this color and paste it into another program.
ShowIP
Show the IP address of the current page in the status bar. It also allows querying custom services by IP (right mouse button) and Hostname (left mouse button), like whois, netcraft. Additionally you can copy the IP address to the clipboard.
Reveal
Reveal allows you to see thumbnails of pages in your session history and quickly find the page you want. Reveal also includes a magnif
ying glass to help you see everything.
Gmail Space
This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2 GB) for file storage. It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files between your hard drive and gmail. This is similar to "Gmail Drive" on windows platform. Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can upload and download your files.

FireFTP is a free, secure, cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox which provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers.
Professor X
The Professor X Extension let's you see inside a page's head without viewing the sourcecode.
Codetch
Get the feel of Dreamweaver in a Firefox extension. Edit your documents right next to your web pages as you surf.
Server Switcher
Server Switcher is a navigational help tool for web developers. It allows you to easily switch between sites on your development and live servers, so that you can immediately see the differences.
