Give Your Cell Phone A New Look |
| Before you think of buying a new cell phone, you’ll want to read this. You can give your old phone a new lease on life with new cell phone skins! |

Consistently having the latest in technology can put you in the poorhouse faster than you can say "new cell phone!” Even if you choose a cell phone that is "free” or close to it with an attached rebate of one form or another, the terms and conditions usually require you to extend your service plan or switch to another plan all together, potentially costing you more in the long run than buying an identical phone outright with no such ulterior motives that come along with your new package.
So what are your choices? Well, you could keep your drab old cell phone which adds no excitement to anyone's day and tell everyone that your new technologically advanced phone is on backorder from the manufacturer (big lie). You could leave your mobile phone at home and make up a story about your dog eating it or the police confiscating it at a party that you were at last weekend (even bigger lie). Or, you could spend about ¼ of the amount of your monthly wireless bill and get yourself a new cell phone skin. It's quick, it's simple, and it will keep your bank accounts in check.
As far as trends come and go, cell phone skins are usually a lead within all of the fashion industries. Remember when Paris Hilton had rhinestones covering her wireless device? Remember when nearly every feminine female had rhinestones on their cell's as a result? It's all in the skins and
04ad nearly nothing at all to do with the make, model and serial number of the device.
Personally, I'm a big fan of Batman. Always have been, always will be. Why? Because he never had super-powers or came from a far away planet in a neighboring galaxy---he's a normal guy (who's significantly richer than the average) who trained himself into becoming a superhero. I always liked "The Penguin” as the super-villain, but was quite impressed with Heath Ledger's adaptation of "The Joker”. But, Michael Keaton will always be my favorite Batman, just as Sean Connery is my favorite James Bond. And whatever my mood, whatever my sense of self is, I have a cell phone skin to show myself-of-the-day to the world.
Now, if you actually went out and bought the latest, top of the line mobile phone today, would you not be obsolete in a few weeks? Someone else is sure to try to top you, just as you feel the need to top everyone else. A new skin for your phone (or a few so you can switch with your moods), is a financially responsible means to "keeping up with the Joneses'”.
Believe me, I came to realize this quite quickly over the last year as I personally must have the latest and greatest of all technologies: Keep your phone, keep your contract, get a new cell phone skin!
